Choose where processing happens

Online and offline modes are intentionally separate. Teams can keep content local for hashing and local Watermark, or explicitly use Signaturum API when server processing is required.

Offline / local-first

SHA-256 and supported Watermark operations run on the workstation. Depositions can remain queued locally until connectivity returns. This reduces unnecessary transfer of source files.

Local queue and local SQLite remain on the device

Online / API

When the user selects an online operation, the required file or hash is sent over HTTPS to the Signaturum API. Access is limited by API-key scopes and account quotas.
